 You may update, delete or correct your account information at any time by accessing your account information settings. Please note any changes you make may reflect immediately inactive user databases. However, all the information you initially gave may be archived and used as a backup as a way of preventing fraud or abuse. This information may also be used should we feel we will have a legal reason to do so.

You may decline to share certain personal information with us. This also means we may not be able to provide you with certain features and services.

Data retention

We only retain personal data collected if the user account is active. Otherwise, we retain the information for a limited time should we need it for the purpose for which it was collected or if required by law. We shall retain and use the information to resolve legal obligations or to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements such as;

Legal transactions between client and XORT.CO is retained for a period of 10 years as per their provision to XORT.CO in accordance with the general limitation period set in the Philippine general of the civil code act.

Data controller and data processor

XORT.CO does not own, control or direct the use of client data stored or processed by a client or user through the service.

Only users or clients are entitled to access, retrieve or direct the use of such client data.

XORT.CO is largely unaware of what client data is actually stored or made available by client or user to the service and does not have direct access to this information unless authorized by the client, or as necessary to provide service to the client and its users.

XORT.CO should only be considered a processor of the data on behalf of its clients and users because any client data containing personal information is subject to the requirement of the EU law. XORT.CO is not acting in the capacity of data controller in terms of EU Directive 95/46/EC on data privacy. XORT.CO, therefore, has no associated responsibilities under EU law.

The client or user is the data controller under the directive of any client data containing personal data. This means this party controls the manner in which this data is controlled and used. He also determines the purpose and men of processing such personal data.

XORT.CO is not responsible for the personal data contained in client data or other information stored on its servers or its subcontractor’s servers at the discretion of the client or user.

XORT.CO is not responsible for the manner in which the user or client collects, handles disclosure, discloses or processes such information.
